Our veterinary technicians are the watchful eyes and discerning ears, assisting the doctors and catching the details that help diagnose and treat the problems. Vet technicians obtain and record patient case histories; collect specimens and perform laboratory procedures; prepare animals, instruments, and equipment for surgery, assist in diagnostic, medical, and surgical procedures, develop radiographs (x-rays); perform dental cleanings and so much more!
Mary Ann graduated from Lipscomb University in 1999. She started working with animals in 1997 in Myrtle Beach, SC. She is married with three children (Jade, Edgar Allen and Mason) and currently her furry family includes 1 cat, 1 rabbit, 2 Guinea pigs and 2 goldfish. Mary Ann loves Miniature Schnauzers and pocket pets of any kind.
Jennifer has been a part of the Southside Animal Hospital family since 2005. She has two furbabies: Smoke, a domestic long-haired cat, and Ali, a labrador retriever. She also has one human baby named, David.
Corinne is from western New York and grew tired of the winter snow, so she moved to Nashville with her two cats to enjoy the country music and warmer weather.
Cymri graduated in 2013 and has been working at Southside Animal Hospital since 2014. She is often found with bottle of milk replacer in one hand and a puppy or kitten in the other. Her family keeps her busy after work and she always has stories to share about her blind cats, naughty pups and preschool age wild child.
Eric is a Certified and Licensed Veterinary Technician with an Associate Degree from Bel-Rea Institute of Denver, CO. Although most of his career has been in Emergency Medicine, he feels fortunate to play a part in the joys of Southside Animal Hospital.
The smiling faces that greet you and the friendly voices you hear on the phone! Our Client Care receptionists answer your questions, address your concerns, assist you with product purchases and more often than not have a patient or boarding guest in their laps!
Originally from Wisconsin, Beth moved to Nashville in 2011. She has 3 cats and outside the vet clinic enjoys anything associated with Star Wars & Harry Potter. Beth also gives her time to volunteer for Nashville Cat Rescue.
Andria joined the Southside family in the Spring of 2013. Born in Hialeah, Florida she moved with her family to Nashville in 2007. She enjoys hiking and spending time with her two dogs, Beasley a Sheltie mix and Alton Brown, a Maltese Yorkie.
Holly Grew up in Anchorage, Alaska with several dogs and cats. She moved to Seattle, WA in 1999, where she met 2 beloved kitties (Jet Li & Bruce Lee) and her fiancé. She moved to Nashville in 2015 after her fiancé was transferred. They now have a combined cat total of four.
Amanda is originally from Richmond, VA and joined our Southside Animal Hospital family in 2016. Amanda and her husband Ryan have two little dogs Bruce & Spike.
Our veterinary assistants float around our vet hospital serving where needed. They help to fill prescriptions, keep exams rooms cleaned and prepped, set up lab equipment, help with inventory, assist with nursing care and so much more.
Jeremey has always been around animals growing up with livestock, wildlife and pets. He has always wanted to help those without a voice and nurture them back to health. He is soon to finish the pre-vet program at Middle Tennessee State University and with a goal of pursuing veterinarian medicine. He hopes to be like the doctors that he has worked with at Southside Animal Hospital since 2012.
Sarah joined the Southside Animal Hospital family in 2016.
Our hard-working kennel staff walk dogs, clean kennel cages, feed and care for the boarded pets, give baths and help with nail trims and of course give tons of attention and love.
Cade love animals and nature and enjoys hiking, yoga, and cuddling up to her animals at home when not working hard at the vet hospital. She says that when she looks into the eyes of an animal, she sees a living being and a friend and feels a soul.
Samuel is a lifelong animal lover and certified in dog training and behavior from the Animal Behavior College. He is dedicated to reducing anxiety and stress in pets and spends most of his free time with his own two dogs, a Chihuahua named Tonka and rehabilitated a lab mix named Mack.
Leslie is our "while not working hard at College" seasonal and seasoned member of our team.
Tom has been part of the Southside Animal Hospital family for over 11 years. He handles office administration, IT, purchasing, human resources, facilities and whatever is needed daily to serve our clients and patients. Pictured here with his Dutch Shepherd, Rogue.
